Uniting Families Affected by Cancer Since 2015
At Shields of Hope, we believe no family should face cancer alone. That's why we created Heroes Helping Heroes—a special initiative that began in 2015 to bring together families affected by cancer for a weekend of rest, bonding, and encouragement.
All-Inclusive Family Retreat
Each year, 30 families are selected for an all-expenses-paid weekend at Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City. This incredible retreat includes:ies.
Unlimited access to the water park and resort amenities
Activities for children and adults
Support from licensed counselors for individual and family sessions
